2025 Spring Baseball

Anticipated Season Dates (up to Majors):

Opening Day: April 21

Regular Season Ends (except Tee Ball): June 4

In-house Tournament Finals and Last Day of Tee Ball : June 13

**Please note that tournaments and tee ball season are expected to extend past the last day of school for Allendale Public Schools**

Tee Ball - Coed (League Ages 4-6) - Boys and Girls will register for Tee Ball under baseball.

One game per week on Fridays. About 60 minutes per game.

Tee ball encourages teamwork and fun while introducing kids to hitting, fielding and baserunning. All players will hit off a tee for the first 4 weeks of the season. After that time, coaches may pitch to players based on ability. Play will consist of 2 innings in which all players will have a turn at bat. Teams are chosen randomly.
6 year-olds with either 2 years of tee ball experience OR at least 1 year of tee ball and good baseball/softball skills are encouraged to sign up for Coach Pitch Baseball or Softball.

Coach Pitch Baseball (League Ages 6-8)

Two games per week on Mondays and Wednesdays. About 70-80 minutes per game

Coaches will pitch max 5 balls to each player. No strikeouts for first 4 games (Players will hit off tee after 3 strikes). No walks, bunting or base stealing. Max 5 runs per inning.
Teams are chosen randomly.
8 year-olds with Travel baseball experience are encouraged to sign up for Minors Baseball.

Minors Baseball (League Ages 8-10)

Two games per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. About 80-90 minutes per game

Kid pitch from 46' mound. Pitch limits will follow little league rules. Max 5 runs per inning. Base stealing is allowed. No leadoffs. No dropped 3rd strike.
Teams are formed based on evaluations. All prospective players are expected to attend evaluations.
8 year-olds who register for this division must attend evaluations and may be asked to move to coach pitch if further development is necessary.
A "Senior Minors" division consisting of the top 40-44 players (based on evaluations) may be split from Minors if registration exceeds 88 players.

Majors Baseball (League Ages 11-12)

Two games per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. About 120 minutes per game (6 innings)

Same rules as Minors Baseball except dropped 3rd strike rule is in effect.
Teams will be formed by draft. All prospective players are expected to attend evaluations.

Anticipated All-Star Season Dates :

Anticipated Season Dates (Intermediate/Juniors):

May 3 - June 20

Intermediate Baseball (League Age 13 year-olds only)

This is an interleague division. Schedule will be determined by District 9.

Juniors Baseball (League Ages 13-14)

This is an interleague division. Schedule will be determined by District 9.

Seniors Baseball (League Ages 15-16)

This is an interleague division. Schedule will be determined by District 9.

Games are played as double headers (5pm/7pm) during the month of June.
